About Us

Williston-Elko High School is a part of Barnwell County School District, located in Williston, SC and serves approximately 200 students in grades 9-12. WEHS strives to help all students develop characteristics of the Profile of the SC Graduate by empowering them to become independent thinkers and leaders while providing a safe and nurturing learning environment focused on college and career readiness.

Williston-Elko High School students develop world-class knowledge through a rigorous program of study in all core and elective coursework as well as through our Career and Technology Education programs on campus and at the Barnwell County Career Center. To support the mission and vision of WEHS, three key areas of focus are recognized. School Culture and Climate, Student Achievement, and Teacher/ Administrator Quality serve as the foundation of all efforts towards continuous school improvement.
